Suicide

This is something which happens in the UK more than anybody really realises, it is estimated that there is at least one suicide attempt by a young person every 30 mins!!! It has also been estimated that there are on average 2 deaths through suicide by young people every day!!!! So next time you think somebody is depressed or feeling down, why don’t you talk to them and show that somebody cares.

Many people think that somebody who attempts or talks about suicide are doing it for attention, in many cases this is not true, they are look for help, they are probably depressed and down, it may be a problem at home or school, what ever it is I can assure you that it is something that can be overcome and sorted.

If you are feeling down and need to talk you can always turn to your parents, they will give all the support you need. I know that it is sometimes difficult to talk to parents, you may have done something which will upset them, but if you attempt suicide that will upset them more than anything you could have possibly done before.

If you are feeling stressed about exams, worrying about parents arguing, scared of being bullied, these are all things that can be overcome, with the right help and communication YOU CAN AND WILL be able to over come these fears.

When you are young it can be even harder to come to terms with issues that concern you, whether it is puberty, sexuality or relationships, these are all things that can add to the problems of growing up but they aren’t worth harming yourself over. Talk to somebody who can, get in touch with us and we will be able to help you.
