Stay safe, stay seen

With the summer over now, the early nights are here. You should keep this in mind when it comes to crossing the road or walking about in the dark, just because a car has it’s lights on doesn’t mean that the driver can see you! If you are out and about in the dark, make sure you wear brightly coloured clothes so that traffic can see you, if you have one you should also wear a hi visibility jacket or put reflective stickers on your clothes/schoolbag.

Clever crossing

Even though it sounds like pretty basic stuff, when it comes to crossing the road just THINK about what you’re doing e.g. don’t just glance around for cars, LOOK and make sure that you’re not going to get hit by a bus or anything like that!
