Why Use Contraception?

If you don’t read any other information about sexual relationships, please read this! If you want to have safe sex and peace of mind you MUST you contraception when entering a sexual relationship. The contraception can stop you from becoming pregnant and infected with a sexually transmitted disease. They may not look cool or be convenient for you to use but they there to be used for YOUR BENEFIT!

Some people don’t bother using contraception, some people don’t bother with it until the last minute and some people will be prepared all the time, if you are one of those who is prepared all the time you are the cool one! If you don’t bother with contraception you are putting yourself and your partner in danger, not only of becoming pregnant but of passing on a Sexually Transmitted Infection.

Many young people feel embarrassed about asking for contraception, you shouldn’t feel embarrassed, it shows that you are thinking sensibly about something which shouldn’t be rushed into. Have a look at the list of different types of contraception and how you can get them. The old saying “its better to be safe than sorry” applies more than ever!

If you are thinking about having sex you should talk to your girlfriend or boyfriend first, it is the responsibility of both of you, DON’T LEAVE IT FOR SOMEBODY ELSE TO BRING THE CONTRACEPTION!
