Class:
C - prescription only medicines.

Other Names:
Could include Valium, Librium, Ativan, temazepam, green age, moggies, tranx, downers and barbiturates.

Effects:
Drowsiness, lack of co-ordination, sedation and sleepiness.

What to look for:
Mostly taken orally but they can also be injected.

Other info:
Like all drugs, it is dangerous to mix with drink as there is a danger of overdosing. If dependency occurs, convulsions can be part of the withdrawal process.

It is an offence to possess temazepam without a doctor's prescription.
